We cut these lounge pants with a rounded barrel shape that arcs away from the thigh before falling straight to the ankle. The cotton-blend fleece holds its structure without weighing down the leg. An elastic waistband with a working drawstring keeps the fit settled where you pull it.

Barrel leg shape. The outer seam bows outward through the knee and drops into a loose opening at the hem. That curve keeps the fabric off your calves without bunching around your shoes.
Drawstring waistband. We gathered the top with a wide band of elastic and threaded it with an adjustable cord. You can pull the rise high or let the waist rest lower on your hips.
Side pocket construction. Two deep slant pockets sit flat along the front seams. They hold a phone or keys without pulling the waist down or breaking the line of the outer hip.
Cotton blend care. Wash cold on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Hang the pants to dry so the cotton blend keeps its soft finish and the seams dry straight.
