We cut these barrel sweatpants with extra room through the leg before tapering slightly toward the ankle. The interior fleece holds warmth without heavy bulk, while the heather apricot knit keeps the outside soft and textured. A wide elastic waistband and deep side pockets handle daily wear.

• Barrel leg cut. The leg curves out wide around the knee and tapers gently down to the bottom opening. This shape keeps the hem off the ground while leaving plenty of room through the thigh and calf.
