We took the soft knit of a classic sweatpant and reshaped the leg into a rounded barrel silhouette. The waist is wide and smocked, backed by an adjustable cotton drawcord so the rise stays where you place it. Cut in solid black for everyday wear through cool weather.

• Barrel leg shape. The pattern bows outward through the thigh and calf before turning inward toward the hem. This gives the fleece structure without clinging to the knee or pooling heavily on your shoes.
• Smocked drawcord waist. A wide band of elastic stitching distributes tension evenly across the high rise. You can pull the flat cord tight or leave it loose, keeping the fit secure without digging.
• Front patch pockets. We topstitched two deep rectangular pockets right onto the front panels. They sit flat when empty and hold keys, cards, or a heavy phone without dragging the waistband down.
• Knit care. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle or by hand to preserve the black dye and the fleece interior. Line dry out of direct sun to keep the knit from shrinking.
