We cut these loose barrel pants from a light linen blend that lets heat escape. The waistband pairs a soft elastic casing with a working drawcord, sitting high on the waist so the dropped volume can billow through the leg. Deep patch pockets sit flat against the hip with visible topstitching.

• Barrel leg cut. A rounded silhouette gives the legs plenty of room before tapering slightly back near the ankle. Vertical seam lines down each side anchor the drape, giving the loose fabric structure without stiffening the walk.
• Waistband and drawcord. An elastic casing gathers the fabric evenly around the high rise. We threaded a flat drawstring through the front so you can pull the fit closer or let it sit relaxed on the hips.
• Oversized patch pockets. We set deep square pockets low on the outer hip. They are double-stitched down the edges to carry daily essentials without pulling the linen blend out of shape.
