A mid-weight cotton-poly knit gives these casual pants enough heft to drape cleanly from the hips down to a wide flared hem. We added seamed paneling and front pleats to break up the leg volume. The pull-on waistband stays put with an elastic core and an adjustable drawcord.

• Wide flare leg. We give the leg room through the thigh and let it widen toward the hem. Vertical panel seams run down the length, keeping the soft knit from pooling around the ankles.
• Drawstring elastic waist. An encased elastic band sits flat across the middle without pinching. We ran an exterior drawstring through the front so you can cinch the rise where you prefer.
• Heather Apricot knit. The yarn blend mixes pale peach and heathered grey tones into a quiet, warm apricot. It is a mid-weight fleece knit with a brushed face that holds warmth in cooler weather.
• Cold water care. Wash on a cold cycle by hand or machine to protect the fleece finish. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry, and press with a warm iron if needed.
