We cut these palazzo pants with extra room through the thigh and calf so the cloth falls straight without catching. The midcoffee shade brings out the natural slub of the linen weave. An elastic waistband sits high, backed by an adjustable drawstring and finished with front buttons.

• Elastic drawstring waist. We built the waistband with internal elastic to hold its position across the hips. A flat self-fabric drawstring lets you tighten the fit, while decorative front buttons finish the center rise.
• Palazzo leg cut. The legs drop wide from the high waist down to a broad hem. This loose shape allows air to move freely around the legs and gives the midcoffee cloth weight to swing as you walk.
• Slanted side pockets. Two deep side pockets sit along the hip seams, cut deep enough to hold keys or a small wallet. We set them flat against the side seam so they do not add bulk to the waistline.
• Linen care. Wash this linen blend on a gentle cycle or by hand in warm water. Hang the pants to dry to keep the drape intact, and use a warm steam iron to smooth out natural wash wrinkles.
