We cut these sweatpants with a wide barrel curve through the outer leg and a deep rise. The ribbed waistband folds over or stays tall, so you decide where the waist sits. A soft cotton fleece blend gives the loose legs enough weight to hold their shape without collapsing at the hem.

• Folded ribbed waistband. The tall ribbed band stretches flat across the waist. You can leave it upright for a higher rise or fold it down over the hips to shorten the torso. It holds its position without a drawstring.
• Barrel leg shape. The cut curves outward from the hip and bows through the knee before tapering slightly toward the open hem. That volume gives you room to move without the cuffs dragging under your shoes.
