We cut these palazzo pants from a lightweight linen blend woven with black stripes. The high waist combines decorative front buttons with an elasticized back band to sit flat while staying easy. Wide legs finish in a contrasting striped border hem that gives the light fabric a clean drop.

Elastic waist and front buttons. The waistband uses a smooth flat front with decorative buttons and gathers into elastic across the back. It holds its place at the natural waist without pinching.
Palazzo leg and contrast hem. The leg falls straight and wide from the hip down to the floor. We finished the lower edge with a horizontal stripe border that adds subtle weight to the drape.
Front patch pockets. Two deep patch pockets sit on the front hips. They are topstitched flat so they stay put without breaking the clean line of the vertical stripes.
Linen blend care. This weave softens over time while letting warm air pass through. Hand wash or run on a gentle cycle, then hang on a line to dry. Skip the machine dryer.
