We cut this long layer wide through the body so it moves freely over tees, tanks, and swimwear. The lightweight linen blend hangs straight down to a gathered hem, secured at the front with simple ties. Solid black lets the drape do the work. It softens up after a turn in the wash.

• Front tie and open front. A clean front opening fastens with self-fabric ties. Leave them loose for an open cardigan drape or knot them once to keep the chest covered while the lower panels swing.
• Lantern sleeves and cuffs. We gathered the sleeves toward the wrist and finished them with gentle elastic. The shape holds its volume through the arm without sliding down over your hands when you push them up.
• Deep side pockets. Two functional pockets sit in the side seams at resting hand height. They are set flat into the linen blend so they do not add bulk to the hips when empty.
• Linen blend care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle to keep the fabric weave intact. Hang the duster to air dry and avoid high iron heat. The linen texture softens naturally as it dries.
