Vertical rose and white stripes run straight down a relaxed leg opening. We built an elastic waist with an adjustable drawstring cord so the rise stays put without binding. The linen blend is light, airy, and washes down softer with each turn in the machine. Two side pockets keep hands and small items accounted for.

• Elastic drawstring waistband. The wide waistband holds internal elastic gathered beneath a functional drawstring. You can cinch the cord tight for a higher seat or loosen it to let the shorts rest lower on the hips without pinching.
• Loose leg cut. We cut the legs wide through the thigh to let air move across the linen blend. The straight hem sits away from the skin, giving room to sit, walk, and lounge without the fabric pulling.
• Side seam pockets. Deep pockets are sewn into both side seams to hold a phone, keys, or cards without bunching. They lay flat along the hip line when empty so the vertical stripes keep their shape.
• Rose stripe weave. The vertical rose and white stripe is woven into the light linen fabric, not printed on top. Cold water washing preserves the colour definition and lets the weave settle into a rumpled, lived-in texture.
