We cut this piece to carry the drape of a relaxed summer skirt over an integrated short. The wide elastic waistband pulls on easily and stays put without pinching. In light purple, the linen weave allows air to move freely while holding a clean, soft line across the legs.

Skort construction. The outer panel hangs with the loose sweep of a casual skirt. Underneath, we built in short coverage that lets you move freely through warm days without bunching.
Elastic waistband. A broad, continuous elastic band sits flat at the waist for an easy pull-on fit. It stretches generously and settles smoothly without digging into your middle.
Light purple linen. The open linen weave vents heat and softens through regular wear. Light purple brings a cool, muted tone to the cloth that works well beside loose cotton tees or matching linen shirts.
Care and maintenance. Wash by hand or on a gentle machine cycle in cool water. Hang on a line to dry naturally without a tumble dryer, and press with a steam iron while the linen is still slightly damp.
