We cut these shorts wide through the leg so air moves freely around the thigh. The elastic band sits high on the natural waist, backed by a flat tie you can adjust as the linen relaxes throughout the day. Lake blue brings a clear, washed tone to the open weave.

Elastic waistband and cord. The waistband combines a gathered elastic core with an exposed drawstring. It stays put without binding across the middle, letting the gathered fabric distribute evenly around the hips.
Wide leg opening. We kept the leg wide and ungathered at the lower opening. The hem hangs straight down from the hip, giving the linen room to swing rather than cling.
Linen blend drape. Our linen blend keeps the dry hand and natural weave of flax while settling soft against the skin. The fabric vents heat easily and gains character as it wrinkles with wear.
Care and washing. Wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours. Hang them on a line to air dry, or give them a quick press with a warm iron if you prefer a crisper look.
