We cut these hot-weather shorts with a high rise and wide legs that hang clear of the skin. The waistband pairs soft elastic with an outer drawcord, so the fit stays put without binding. Our army green linen blend arrives pre-washed for softness and holds a clean, relaxed drape through warm afternoons.

High drawstring waistband. We gathered the top over broad elastic that rests flat across the hips, then ran a matching drawstring through the front so you can cinch the rise higher or let it settle lower.
Wide loose leg. The legs flare out directly from the hip, creating a roomy opening that vents heat in heavy sun. It gives the look of a cropped skirt with the utility of an unrestrictive short.
Army green linen blend. We chose a midweight linen blend dyed in a muted army green. The cloth softens with wear, holds its dye through the laundry, and takes on subtle rumples that show the natural texture of the weave.
