We cut these shorts with generous room through the leg so hot air clears quickly. The high waist combines gathered elastic with a workable front drawstring that stays put when tied. Soft linen weave drops straight from the hip into a clean, level hem.

Waistband and drawcord. The waistband holds a wide elastic band that rests flat against your skin. We threaded a soft drawstring through the middle so you can adjust the tension directly without pinching or gathering too tightly.
Wide leg cut. Volume starts right at the hip and stays broad down to the bottom hem. The wide leg openings let air move freely as you walk, keeping the fabric away from the thighs in midsummer heat.
Linen blend weave. We use a lightweight linen blend pre-washed to settle the weave and reduce shrinkage. It has the natural, slightly textured drape of flax with a softer hand that relaxes further with every wash.
Washing and care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with similar dark colours. Line dry or lay flat to preserve the linen fibres, and use a warm iron while still slightly damp if you prefer a pressed finish.
