We cut these high on the waist with plenty of room through the hips and thighs. The linen blend keeps the wide leg light, while the gathered ruffle hem weights the cuffs so the fabric falls cleanly. It is an easy everyday trouser with a soft pale green pattern.

Ruffle cuff hem. We finished each leg with a gathered ruffle band at the cuff. This lower tier adds weight to the bottom hem, keeping the wide cut open as you walk.
Elastic drawstring waistband. The waistband uses an encased elastic channel backed by an adjustable drawcord. It sits high on the waist without binding or pinching across the front.
Linen blend cloth. We chose a light linen blend that softens after washing. The open weave lets heat escape, making the wide leg airy for warm afternoons.
Gentle wash care. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand in lukewarm water. Hang them to dry rather than using a dryer, and use a steam iron to reset the hem ruffles.
