A wide leg needs room to swing without pooling around the ankles. We shaped these cropped culottes with generous volume through the thigh that falls straight to a calf-length hem. The waistband stays flat and adjusts with a pull cord, while deep side pockets carry what you need. Medium Rustred adds an earthy warmth to the clean cut.

• Drawstring elastic waistband. We set a soft elastic band at the top and threaded it with an exterior drawstring. You pull it snug or leave it relaxed depending on how you like your trousers to sit across the waist.
• Cropped gaucho leg. The cut widens immediately below the hip and stops well short of the floor. That cropped hem keeps the hemline off the ground while letting cool air move across the calf with every stride.
• Inseam side pockets. Pockets belong in everyday trousers. We set these directly into the side seams, deep enough to hold keys or a small wallet without pulling the drape of the wide leg out of line.
