We cut these pants from a midweight ribbed corduroy that holds warmth for cooler days without stiff bulk. The barrel leg curves outward through the calf before tapering toward the ankle, balanced by inset plaid patchwork panels. An elastic back waistband pairs with a front button to sit flat without binding.

• Barrel leg shape. The wide leg bows outward along the outer seam and tapers slightly at the hem. This creates volume around the lower leg while keeping the cuffs clear of your boots and shoes.
