We cut these everyday winter trousers from a midweight ribbed corduroy that holds warmth. The high elastic waistband fastens with a clean front button, while the leg bows outward through the calf before tapering back toward the ankle. Large patch pockets sit flat against the front hips. Deep black fabric gives the corduroy wales a steady, low-sheen finish.

• Curved barrel leg. The leg cuts wide away from the thigh, peaks in volume around the lower leg, and pulls inward at the lower hem. This structural seamwork keeps the loose profile off shoe tops while holding a rounded shape.
• High elastic waistband. We built the waist with an internal elastic band and a front button closure. It sits high on the torso, settling securely in place without binding when you sit or bend.
• Front patch pockets. Two oversized patch pockets are topstitched across the front panels. They are cut deep enough to carry a heavy phone or keys without distorting the drape of the corduroy.
• Cold water care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water or wash by hand. Lay the trousers flat in the shade to dry so the corduroy pile stays soft and keeps its matte black tone.
