We cut these cropped sweatpants loose through the thigh and calf so fabric stays off the skin. The mid-to-high rise anchors on a wide elastic band with an adjustable drawcord. Light khaki knit brings enough weight to stay opaque without dragging.

• Waistband and drawcord. The waistband combines internal elastic with a working drawstring to stay put during movement. It sits comfortably between mid and high rise without pinching.
• Loose cropped leg. We gave the legs a wide, straight cut that ends below the knee. The hem hangs free around the calves to let air move while you walk.
