We cut these trousers with a roomy barrel leg that arches outward through the thigh and curves back toward the ankle. The ribbed corduroy holds body without feeling stiff. A full elastic waistband pulls straight on, keeping the rise easy and loose.

• Barrel leg shape. The outer seam bows wide through the leg and tapers gently at the hem. That curve creates volume off the thigh while keeping the cuff from dragging on the ground when you walk.
• Corduroy ribs and print. A fine-wale corduroy gives the cloth its brushed, ridged surface. We printed the army green base with light dots, letting the textured grain show through across the ribs.
• Pull-on elastic waist. We gathered the top edge on a flexible elastic band that sits flat against the body. It stretches as you sit or bend, avoiding hard closures or restrictive waistbands.
• Wash and care. Wash cold on a gentle cycle to protect the corduroy nap and the printed dot pattern. Line dry or hang in the shade so the fabric retains its soft, ridged surface over time.
