We cut these corduroy pants with a bowed leg that curves out through the calf and tapers toward the ankle. The ribbed cloth holds warmth when the weather cools down. We set the pull-on elastic waistband flat so it stays put without pinching. The black-and-white dotted pattern adds surface variation across the wales.

• Curved barrel leg. The outer seam bows wide through the thigh and calf before pulling inward at the ankle. This shape keeps the hem off your footwear and gives the stiff corduroy room to hold its own volume without clinging.
