A high elastic waistband anchors this wide cut, while the corduroy ribs give the fabric enough weight to fall straight down. We dyed this run in dusty gray, a muted neutral with a soft surface nap. Two deep pockets sit flat at the hip seams.

• Wide leg drape. The wide cut drops straight from the hip down to a wide open hem. The ribbed corduroy holds warmth without stiffening, so the leg swings naturally when you walk.
• Elastic drawstring waistband. The wide waistband gathers soft elastic around the top and adds an adjustable cord. You can set the rise high or pull it down toward the hips.
• Deep side pockets. Two inset pockets are sewn into the side seams. We cut them deep enough so phones and keys do not push the corduroy out at the hips.
• Washing corduroy. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, or wash by hand. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to keep the raised ribs soft and avoid bleach.
