We cut these winter trousers with a wide barrel profile that falls straight from the hip. The ridged corduroy has enough weight to keep its shape through the leg while holding warmth. A soft elastic waistband with a matching drawstring keeps the high rise anchored without pinching.

• Corduroy cloth. The ridged wales run vertically down the leg, giving the black fabric a soft texture and steady drape. It holds warmth through cooler months and softens up as you wear it.
• Elastic waist and tie. We built the high waist with an enclosed elastic band that sits flat against the body. An adjustable drawstring lets you reset the tension over tucked sweaters or light shirts.
• Wide barrel shape. The leg runs loose through the thigh and maintains generous volume all the way to the hem. It falls clear of the ankle so the heavy cloth swings freely when you walk.
• Pockets and wash care. Two deep side pockets sit along the hip seams to hold daily items. Wash the pants in cold water by hand or machine, then tumble dry on low heat without bleach.
