We cut these loose lounge trousers from a soft, springy knit that drapes cleanly through the wide leg. The high waist uses side shirring to stay in place without pinching, or you can roll it down to wear lower on the hips. Deep wine red gives the relaxed cut a quiet, grounded presence.

• Shirred high waist. A wide waistband anchors the high rise. We added side shirring so the elastic moves easily, and you can fold the band down over the hips to adjust where the hem sits.
• Full wide leg. The leg drops straight from the hip with plenty of room through the thigh and calf. It hangs clean to the shoe, moving with weight instead of clinging to the knee.
• Deep side pockets. Two open slant pockets sit along the side seams. We anchored them deep enough to hold a phone or keys without pulling the loose silhouette out of line.
• Knit care. This stretch fabric resists deep creases and washes easily. Machine wash cold with similar shades to keep the rich wine red tone solid, then dry flat or hang.
