We cut these lounge pants with the sweep of a palazzo trouser and the weight of a casual knit. The waistband pairs soft elastic with an exterior drawstring so the rise stays put. Contrast stitching runs down the panels to give the wide leg clean definition.

• Wide leg palazzo cut. The leg falls straight from the hip without tapering at the ankle. That extra width lets the cotton blend drape cleanly while you walk, giving you total freedom of movement through the thighs and knees.
• Drawstring elastic waist. We built the top block with a gathered elastic band that sits flat against the waist. An adjustable cord lets you knot the fit higher or lower on the hips without pinching or bunching.
• Exposed contrast seams. Front and side panels are assembled with visible contrast thread along the construction lines. The exposed stitch breaks up the deep navy field and adds structural weight to the long vertical seams.
• Oversized patch pockets. Two deep patch pockets sit flat on the front hips to hold a phone or keys without pulling the waist down. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang dry to preserve the knit.
