We built these lounge pants with a clean, wide leg that drops straight from the hip instead of tapering to a cuff. The cotton blend fleece holds its shape and keeps the chill off without feeling stiff. An elastic waistband sits high and stays flat while you walk.

• High elastic waistband. The waist sits high on the torso, gathered over a wide internal elastic band that holds firmly without cutting into you. It stretches easily when you sit down and returns to shape without rolling down.
• Straight wide leg. Instead of a traditional gathered sweatpant ankle, we let the hem hang open and wide. The fabric has enough body to drop straight to the shoes without clinging to the calf or knee.
• Deep side pockets. Two open pockets sit directly along the side seams. We stitched the pocket bags flat against the inside front so they hold a phone and keys without bunching up or pulling the hips out of line.
• Cotton blend fleece. The knit is smooth on the outside with a soft interior that retains warmth through cooler mornings. Machine wash on a cold cycle and tumble dry low to preserve the dark coffee brown tone.
