A soft knit trouser with a high waist and room throughout the leg. We added gentle shirring along the wide elastic band, which can also be folded down to shorten the rise. The fabric falls straight from the hips into a loose, open hem that does not cling.

Foldover waistband. The wide band sits high and has soft shirring on the sides. You can wear it pulled up over the waist or fold it down flat to adjust where the rise sits.
Roomy palazzo cut. We cut the legs wide from the hip down to the floor. The knit fabric hangs straight without tapering, keeping the ankles open and free of cuffs or elastic bands.
Side pocket construction. Two deep pockets sit along the side seams. We anchor them flat against the hips so the pockets stay useful without pulling at the side seam when filled.
Light gray knit care. This light gray knit holds its stretch and pale tone best when washed cold with similar colors. Line dry or lay flat to preserve the elasticity in the waist.
