We cut these trousers wide through the hip and leg so the corduroy can drop straight without catching. The smocked elastic band sits high on the waist, holding firmly without hardware. Dark brown wales add ribbed texture and trap heat across cooler months.

• Smocked high waistband. We gathered the top with rows of elastic stitching to create a wide band that pulls on easily and stays put without buttons or zippers. It distributes pressure evenly across the waist.
• Wide palazzo cut. The legs run straight and broad from the hip down to the floor. This open volume lets the heavy corduroy swing cleanly as you walk, with enough room underneath for thermal layers when the temperature drops.
