A crossover front band anchors the high rise without digging in. We cut the legs wide and finished the outer hems with a curved split, so the knit fabric opens and moves as you walk. Deep side pockets sit flat against the hips.

• Crossed high waistband. The front waistband crosses in a gentle V shape that sits flat across the torso. Elastic runs through the band to hold the high rise in place through stretches and long walks without pinching.
• Curved split hem. We curved the outer hem and split it up the side of each lower leg. The fabric parts when you step, letting heat vent easily around the ankles while showing off your shoes.
• Wide leg knit. The knit yarn has enough stretch to recover its shape after repeated wear. We gave the leg a full, loose profile from the hip down, leaving plenty of room for movement without cling.
• Deep side pockets. Two inset side pockets are cut deep enough to hold a phone or keys without pulling the waist down. The openings align with the outer line of the hip so the front stays smooth.
