We cut these with a deep V-shaped cross waistband that sits flat without digging in. The leg falls wide and loose from the hip down, finishing with curved side splits that open across the ankle. The jersey knit has enough weight to drop straight while staying soft against the skin.

• Crossover waistband. The front waistband crosses over in a wide V shape, anchoring high on the waist without a drawstring. It stays flat across the middle and holds its position while you move.
• Curved split hem. We opened each outer ankle seam into a curved side split. The cut lets the lower leg swing clear of your shoes and vents warm air around the ankles.
• Side slash pockets. Two deep pockets sit along the side seams. We anchored them flat inside the fabric so they hold keys or a phone without pulling the waistband down.
• Dark coffee jersey. The stretch jersey knit is dyed a deep, warm dark coffee brown. Wash cold on a gentle cycle and lay flat to dry to keep the split hems even.
