We cut these cropped trousers with a crossover high waistband that lies flat across the front. The legs drop wide from the hip down to curved side splits at the hem. In black jersey, the fabric has plenty of stretch and falls with clean weight.

• Crossover waistband. A wide crossover band sits high on the waist without drawstrings or hardware. It pulls on easily and stays flat against the body through movement, using gentle tension across the front to hold position.
• Curved split hem. The legs finish cropped with an open curved slit at the outer side seam. This cut loosens the hem around the lower calf and vents the leg without adding bulk at the base.
• Deep side pockets. Two inset pockets sit along the side seams. We cut them deep enough so phones and keys stay seated instead of pulling the lightweight jersey out of line when you walk.
• Stretch knit care. The soft jersey knit combines stretch with an opaque drape. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, then hang the trousers to dry or tumble dry on low heat.
