We cut these trousers with a high rise and a straight wide leg that falls clean to the floor. The corduroy ribs add structure and hold warmth as the weather cools. An elastic waistband with a matching drawstring keeps the top easy to adjust throughout the day.

• Elastic drawstring waist. The waistband combines full elastic with a flat drawstring. It pulls on easily, sits high on the natural waist, and anchors without pinching or cutting in when you sit.
• Straight wide leg. We gave the legs a wide, parallel cut from the hip down. The vertical ribs in the corduroy add weight to the hem so the trousers drop straight and resist bunching.
• Dusty gray corduroy. The dusty gray cloth is soft to the touch with distinct ridges that trap air for cooler days. The neutral tone works well alongside heavy knits, poplin shirts, or dark outerwear.
• Side pockets and care. Two deep inset pockets sit flat along the side seams without adding bulk at the hip. Wash inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle, then line dry to preserve the pile.
