We cut these loose lounge pants with a clean V crossover at the front waistband so the band sits flat without gathering across the middle. The knit fabric has plenty of stretch and a soft hand. The legs drop wide and straight from the hip down to a plain turned hem. Light khaki gives the generous cut a quiet, neutral ground.

• Crossover elastic waistband. The front waistband crosses over in a low V that rests flat against you while the elastic inside keeps the rise in place. It pulls straight on with no drawstrings or hardware to press into your waist.
• Wide straight leg. We gave the legs a full, loose cut from the hip down to the floor. The knit fabric falls in long vertical folds rather than clinging, giving your legs room to move during floor work or rest.
• Side seam pockets. Two deep pockets sit along the side seams. We anchored them flat inside so they carry a phone or keys without pulling the line of the hip out of shape when you walk.
• Wash and care. Machine wash cold with similar light colours to keep the light khaki shade clear. Line dry or tumble dry low. The stretch knit shakes out smooth without needing an iron.
