We cut these loose trousers from a soft stretch knit with a wide leg that falls straight from the hip. The high waistband features side shirring so it stays flat without binding, or folds over if you want a lower rise. Two set-in side pockets keep hands free around the house.

• Shirred elastic waistband. The wide waistband uses side shirring to distribute stretch evenly across your middle. You can pull it high or fold the band over to reset the rise and hem height.
• Full wide leg. We gave the legs a generous cut that drops straight down to a clean hem. The knit fabric adds weight so the volume hangs loose instead of catching at the knees.
• Set-in side pockets. Two deep pockets sit along the side seams without breaking the drape of the hips. They lie flat when empty and hold small items securely.
