We cut these palazzo pants from a lightweight linen blend woven with light khaki stripes. The high rise secures with a flat buttoned front and an elasticated back band that stays put without pinching. Wide legs run straight down to a horizontal contrast stripe along the bottom hem.

• Buttoned waistband. A row of front buttons anchors the rise, backed by a ruched elastic panel across the rear waist. It holds steady against your middle while leaving room to sit down without tight pressure points.
• Palazzo leg and hem. The legs fall straight and wide from the hip, allowing air to pass through as you move. At the base, we turned the stripe pattern horizontal along the hem to weight the bottom edge.
• Front patch pockets. Two deep patch pockets sit flat on the front hips. We stitched them square across the grain to keep your hands comfortable and hold small daily carry without pulling the waist down.
• Linen blend care. This linen blend fabric softens with each wash. Run it through a gentle cold cycle or wash it by hand, then hang it on a line to dry. Skip the heated dryer to keep the weave smooth.
