We cut these wide-leg pants from a light linen-blend weave patterned in light green and white vertical stripes. The high waist combines a flat buttoned front with an elasticated back for an easy fit that stays put. Deep front patch pockets and a contrast horizontal stripe at the hem complete the cut.

Buttoned waistband with elastic back. The front band sits flat with decorative buttons, while the back gathers on elastic to give when you sit without sagging or sliding down.
Contrast striped hem. We turned the stripe horizontal at the lower leg. This border breaks the vertical line and adds enough fabric weight to let the wide hem swing freely.
Deep front patch pockets. Large patch pockets sit flat against the front hips. They are topstitched into the side seams so they stay stable under the weight of everyday items.
Linen blend wash care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool water or wash by hand. Hang the pants to dry in the shade to protect the stripe and avoid high heat.
