We cut these lounge pants with a rounded barrel profile that arches out through the calf and tapers slightly before the hem. The knit fabric hangs with enough weight to keep the shape open. An elastic waistband sits flat without hardware, paired with earth-toned horizontal striping across the full length.

• Barrel leg profile. The outseam curves outward past the knee to build volume, then pulls back in toward the ankle. This shape stays off the shins and keeps the knit fabric moving freely as you walk.
• Soft knit drape. We chose a midweight knit with a fluid hang. The yarn gives gently across the hips, holds the rounded leg silhouette, and lets air move through the stitch during warmer days.
• Elastic pull-on waist. A wide elastic band is encased directly into the top edge. It pulls on without drawstrings, buttons, or zips, staying flush against the waist under untucked sweaters or tees.
