We cut these trousers from textured corduroy in dark gray, giving the hips room through front pleating before narrowing down the calf. The waist sits high to balance the ease through the seat. At the hem, rolled cuffs turn up to show a flash of woven plaid against the wales.

• Corduroy weave. The ribbed corduroy holds body warmth while letting air move through the ridges. The dark gray wash highlights the directional grain of the wales without turning stiff after washing.
