We cut these everyday trousers from a midweight corduroy that holds warmth while letting air move through the ribs. The waist sits high with front pleats that release room through the hips, tapering down toward folded plaid cuffs. They give you a relaxed harem line that clears your boots cleanly.

• High pleated waist. Front pleats sit below a high-rise waistband to build volume through the seat and thighs. The cloth falls loosely without clinging or pinching when you sit down.
