Light purple linen blended with rayon gives these cropped pants a soft, fluid hang that stays off the skin. We built them with a generous wide leg that finishes in a band of open lace at the hem. The high elastic waistband uses an adjustable front drawstring to keep the fit easy around the middle.

• Lace hem border. We set a wide band of open lace directly into the bottom of each leg. The trim lets air through at the ankle and adds enough structure to hold the cropped hem open as you walk.
• Linen and rayon blend. The weave combines the dry texture of linen with the soft drape of rayon. It vents warm air easily, softens with each wash, and hangs in clean vertical folds instead of standing stiff.
• Drawstring elastic waistband. A gathered elastic casing sits high on the waist without digging in. We threaded an adjustable self-fabric cord through the front so you can pull the waist closer or leave it relaxed.
• Deep side pockets. Two inset pockets sit along the side seams, cut deep enough to hold keys and a phone without pulling the hip line out of shape. Machine wash on cold and hang dry to protect the lace.
