We cut these shorts with wide tiered panels so they fall and move like a skirt. The linen blend is light, airy, and textured in heather light khaki. An elastic waist with a functional drawstring keeps the fit easy around the hips.

Tiered skirt cut. We built deep tiers into each wide leg opening. The extra fabric hangs loose around the thighs, giving the garment the look of an A-line skirt with the practical step of a short.
Waistband and drawstring. The waistband uses a soft elastic core threaded with a matching tie. You can pull the drawstring snug or let it sit loose without losing the rise.
Side seam pockets. Deep pockets sit flat inside the side seams. They stay tucked beneath the top tier so keys or a phone do not pull the drape out of line.
