We cut these high-waisted palazzo trousers with generous room through the thigh and calf. Light navy linen blend gives the wide leg enough body to hold its drape without clinging. The gathered ruffle hem sits weighted at the base, trimmed with narrow lace above the ankle. An elastic waist with a tassel drawstring anchors the fit.

Elastic waistband and drawstring. A wide elastic band sits high on the waist so the fabric gathers evenly around the hips. We added an adjustable drawstring tipped with small tassels to secure the rise without pinching.
Lace inset and ruffle hem. The bottom of each wide leg ends in a tier of gathered fabric bordered by inset lace. This extra seam adds weight to the lower hem, keeping the palazzo profile open as you walk.
Inseam side pockets. Deep side pockets sit flat along the hip seams. We set them straight into the construction so they hold small everyday items without distorting the outer line of the trousers.
Light navy linen blend care. Linen softens as it is washed and vents heat through an open weave. Hand wash or run on a gentle cycle, then hang the trousers to dry. Use steam to ease out deeper wrinkles.
