We cut these loose through the thigh and taper them slightly toward a cropped hem with overlapping side splits. The linen blend keeps air moving across the skin. Vertical navy stripes run the length of the leg, anchored by a gathered drawstring waist that sits where you place it.

Waistband and rise. An elastic casing holds flat against the waist, threaded with a self fabric drawstring to secure the fit. The rise is cut deep so the pant settles low and does not pull when you sit.
Leg and split hem. The leg carries wide volume down past the knee before opening into overlapping split side hems. These vented cuffs release heat and let the fabric move freely around the calf.
Fabric and stripe. A lightweight linen blend weave gives the pants their airy hang and dry hand. Narrow vertical stripes in navy and off-white are woven through, softening up gradually after repeated washes.
Pockets and care. Two deep side pockets are sewn flat into the forward seams to hold keys or a phone. Machine wash on a gentle cold cycle or hand wash, then line dry to protect the weave.
