We paired an easy button-down shirt with high-rise wide-leg pants in an airy linen blend. The N Dot pattern sets small white dots across black yardage. Both pieces hang loose from the body, giving heat room to clear.

• Button-down shirt cut. We cut the shirt with a clean collar, long sleeves, and a straight hem that clears the hip. The front buttons all the way up, so you can wear it closed or leave it open over a tank.
