We cut these baggy trousers from soft corduroy that traps heat for cold weather. The high rise anchors front pleats that open into a generous, straight fall. At the bottom, a plaid facing shows whenever the hem is turned up.

Wider leg cut. The pant drops straight from the hip with plenty of room through the thigh. Front pleats release extra volume that settles quietly as you move around.
Turned plaid hem. We lined the bottom hem with a woven plaid facing. Leave it long for a plain finish, or roll the cuff once to bring the pattern out.
Ribbed corduroy cloth. The medium-weight ribs run vertically to give the fabric structure and a soft hand. The army green dye takes to the nap with a muted, vintage depth.
Cold wash care. Wash on a gentle cold cycle or hand wash to keep the corduroy wales standing tall. Tumble dry on low heat and avoid bleach entirely.
