We cut these flares from soft-ribbed corduroy that holds warmth when the temperature drops. The high rise settles comfortably on an elastic waist, opening into a wide leg finished with a ruffled bottom hem. Two side pockets keep hands warm and hold daily carry.

• Elastic waist and rise. The waistband uses a wide elastic band that pulls on without hardware. It sits high on the natural waist, holding firm while leaving room to sit, walk, and bend through the day.
• Corduroy fabric and print. The corduroy cloth has a soft vertical rib that traps air for natural warmth. Our Sun Floral print runs across the entire cut, giving the heavier winter fabric a bright, traditional patterned face.
• Flared leg with ruffle. The leg drops loose from the hip and flares out toward the ankles. We finished the bottom with a gathered ruffle hem that adds weight, helping the wider leg swing cleanly over flat shoes or boots.
