We cut these pull-on flares from soft corduroy that holds warmth when the temperature drops. The high waist sits on a flexible elastic band, and the wide legs open out toward a gathered ruffle at the hem. Black dots across a warm beige ground give the textured ribs a clean pattern.

• Elastic high waistband. The band pulls straight on without zippers or buttons. It settles high on the waist, holds its position, and gives you room through the middle.
• Wide leg and ruffle. We shaped the leg with generous ease through the thigh before letting it bell out toward the ankle. A small ruffle at the bottom weights the hem.
• Polka dot corduroy. Fine vertical ribs give the cloth its soft hand and cold-weather weight. The black polka dots are printed evenly across the beige base without blurring into the wales.
• Side pockets and care. Two inset side pockets sit flat along the seams for keys or hands. Wash cold on a gentle cycle, skip the bleach, and lay flat in the shade to dry.
