We cut these wide-leg pants from medium-weight corduroy to hold warmth through cooler days. The high rise settles on a gathered elastic waistband with a matching drawstring, dropping into a roomy barrel leg that falls straight to the hem. Printed with coffee and white polka dots, the ribbed wales soften with every wash.

• Corduroy rib and print. The corduroy has a moderate weight that keeps its structure while draping easily through the legs. Fine ridges run beneath a printed cream dot over a rich coffee base, giving the surface soft texture.
