We cut these loose palazzo trousers from midweight corduroy printed with a warm sun floral pattern. The elastic waistband pulls on easily and stays put with an adjustable cord. It falls straight through the hip into a wide barrel leg that rests comfortably over flat shoes.

• Corduroy fabric and print. The ribbed corduroy cloth has a soft hand and enough substance to block cold drafts. We printed it with a sun floral design that breaks up the texture across the wide legs without feeling heavy.
• Elastic waist and tie. The wide waistband holds a hidden elastic casing alongside an external cord tie. It sits high on the torso and distributes tension evenly across the midsection, so the cloth never pinches or binds when you sit.
• Deep side pockets. We set two deep pockets directly into the side seams. They sit flat against the hip when empty and hold a phone securely without dragging down the drape of the corduroy.
• Care and maintenance. Machine wash cold or hand wash in cold water to keep the floral print clear and preserve the ribbed pile. Lay the trousers flat in the shade to dry, and avoid bleach.
