We cut these trousers from textured corduroy to hold warmth through cool mornings. The shape sits loose through the hips and bows out along the leg before tapering at the ankle. Curved seam lines run down the front panels to give the barrel silhouette its structure.

• Elastic drawstring waistband. The wide waistband pulls on easily and stays put without pinching. An adjustable cord threads through the casing so you can reset the tension across your waist throughout the day.
• Curved barrel leg. We gave the legs extra volume through the mid-thigh and tapered them toward the hem. The curved front seams direct the drape so the corduroy keeps its rounded shape instead of bunching.
• Deep side pockets. Two inset pockets sit along the side seams, cut deep enough to hold a phone, keys, or cards securely. The pocket openings rest flat against the hip when empty.
• Light apricot corduroy care. Wash cold on a gentle cycle to keep the corduroy wales soft and distinct. Tumble dry on low heat and remove promptly to avoid hard creases.
